Children With Cancer UK
This year we are fundraising again for Children with Cancer UK.
Chris and Gary on August 4th are going to be riding the Prudential Ride 100.
Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts from 05:45 in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it’s a truly spectacular event for all involved. The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 finishes on The Mall in central London.
The week after the ride, Chris will be doing a Wing Walk. Yes that’s right strapped to the wings of a plane whilst in flight, oh my not many would be up for that. The earliest known instance of a wing-walking on a powered aircraft was an experimental flight in England involving a biplane built by Colonel Samuel Franklin Cody in 1911 and it’s still going strong.
But all the training and pain will be worth it to raise funds for this serious cause. Raising money for this worthwhile cause and helping so many children to ring the End of Treatment Bell is our goal. So come on everyone please help us to help these brave children and their families.
All donations are greatly appreciated by all and can be made following our link to
