Keeping the rides going at Lightwater Valley

Well one of today’s adventure’s was “fun at the fair” up in North Yorkshire at Lightwater Valley.  Beautiful day, the sun was shining and we certainly did not want to let their customers down and stop anyones fun.

Today’s machine was the Niftylift HR 21D 4X4.

It is a very impressive machine for it’s relatively small size.

This machine has a working height of 68 ft or 20.8 m with 4WD for rough terrain. Weighing in at just 6,640Kg with a space saving design. The working load of the machine is 500lbs and can be turned in a space of just 4 m or 13 ft. Impressive!

Safe to say, our engineer had no time to have a go on the Eagles Claw, Trauma Tower or even visit the Birds of Prey before he was off to the next one.

Tottenham Hotspur New Stadium

Tottenham Hotspur New Stadium

Tottenham Hotspur New Stadium

Today we had the opportunity to visit the all new Tottenham Hotspur ground. This was to work of the JLG 1850 SJ. This machine is the world’s largest self propelled boom.

It has an unbelievable working height of 191 feet/56.6 metres. It also has an impressive outreach of 24.38 metres/79.98 feet.

This is a huge ongoing project that was started back in 2014 looking to be completed by 2018-19 and will have cost a huge £800 million. This state of the art stadium will be replacing the current White Hart Lane. The stadium has a planned capacity of 62,062 spectators.

Must say it was a pleasure to go help everyone out and see the new stadium in progress also to work on this huge machine.

Well done to all. The ground is coming along nicely. Looking forward to seeing the completed project.

Help at Aintree Racecourse

Today we had another fantastic job to share with you. We were called to help out the chaps at Aintree Racecourse in their preparations for Saturday’s Grand National.

They were in the middle of preparing all the signs for Saturday’s Grand National when the JLG 1350 they were using decided it had had enough. So MHS to the rescue it was. Within a couple of hours the machine was back up and running. The staff were then able to continue placing their new banners at the Earl of Derby stand entrance.

Great job and the engineer had a great view from up there, just a shame it wasn’t race day!

Shaw Lane U16s Finish 3rd In Holland Tournament

Trophy for the boy’s

The Pictures above shows Shaw Lane U16 s on the Ajax Stadium Tour and with their 3rd place trophy.

A massive well done to Shaw Lane U16s who  finished third  in a football tournament based in Holland over the bank holiday period. The tournament was attended by teams from all around Europe. The standard of the competition was very high , with the eventual winners being MK Dons. Third place and a trophy for Shaw Lane U 16s  is a very respectable finish.

The teams Manager called into the office this week, so we could have a sneak close up at their Trophy

Trophey

Well done from everybody at MHS and good luck for the rest of the season.

Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace

Mobile Hose Repair At Buckingham Palace.

Well Mobile Hose Services do get some great jobs in fantastic places. When we got a call for help from Buckingham Palace how could we refuse.

They asked if we could attend a repair on this Ariel platform in the grounds of Buckingham Palace.

So with a quick ETA we were off, Cant keep the Royal’s waiting. Quick repair and they were back up and running.

Down side is our engineer didn’t manage to get afternoon tea with the Queen. Oh well we can’t win them all.
